Please note that wood products may vary in stave quantities due to the differing thicknesses of lumber in each bunk and the width of the product.

For clarification:
– Total Depth refers to the distance from the front to the back of the landing tread but excludes the overhang material.
– Nosing Depth indicates the overhang size at the front of the landing tread, affecting its overhang.
– Width denotes the distance between the left and right sides of the landing tread, excluding the returned edging material.
– Body Thickness defaults to our ¾” standard on Landing Treads, designed to match the standard thickness of hardwood flooring or carpeting.
– Nosing Thickness determines the overhang on the landing tread’s front edge.
– Returns provide a finished look and conceal end grains. Choose from Left, Right, or Double configurations based on your needs.

Double Return landing treads are necessary when both edges are exposed, requiring a special measurement called the “throat cut.”

Except for Double Returns, all Left, Right, and No Return Landing Treads are provided with up to an extra 1” of material on the end with no return, which can be trimmed on-site for a precise fit.

For Landing Treads, we offer both clear finishes and stains. Choose a clear finish to accentuate the natural beauty and colours of the wood, or opt for our custom-mixed stains for deeper, richer tones. Rest assured, all materials used underfoot are finished with a Conversion Varnish, ensuring durability against heavy wear and tear. Our team applies this specialty product using a spray applicator for flawless coverage, protecting your landing platform for years to come.
